The citizens of Irving deserve the best city government in the country and the Performance Office is committed to creating it. The Performance Office is helping the city pursue this goal by asking three fundamental questions:
What are the key performance indicators each department performs?
How well are we performing?
How can we perform better?
The Performance Office collects performance data from City departments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in order to increase performance, create dialogue, and build the public’s confidence regarding the city’s management of public business.
The City Report Card measures are listed according to major service areas, such as public safety, infrastructure, code enforcement, economic development, recreation, governance, communications and customer service, cultural, recreational and educational opportunities.
