    There will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush collection Dec. 25. In addition the following facilities will be closed:

    • City Hall.
    • The Hunter Ferrell Landfill, libraries and recreation centers.
    • The Heritage Senior Center and Heritage Aquatic Center.
    • The Irving Arts Center.

    Don’t be a scrooge --- join us for some literary holiday cheer! In honor of the classic story A Christmas Carol, the Dickens Carolers will perform seasonal favorites as we enjoy treats and create old-fashioned ornaments to live up to any great expectations.

    Teen volunteers will provide complimentary gift wrapping services to help keep the bah-humbugs at bay. Limit five items per person and while supplies last. Oversized or odd-shaped items cannot be accepted. Boxes are not provided. Please bring your presents ready to wrap!

    These festivities are a collaboration between Friday Night Library and Lit's Alive. All ages.
