Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  1. Basic Computer

    June 11, 2018, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ South Irving Library Computer Lab

    This class is for adults who have had no experience with computers. Topics include how to use a keyboard and a mouse, as well as other beginning computer skills. Please take this course before you attend any of the others offered. Classes are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. No registration is required. Classes are in the computer lab unless otherwise noted.

    Play and learn together as a family by joining us for a hands-on STEM exploration of robots and coding. Space is limited, and tickets for that date's session will be handed out in South's program room 30 minutes before the program start time. This special event takes the place of the weekly Family Storytime which occurs Mondays at 6 p.m. at an earlier time for extra-long summer nights!
